Candice Crawford is the wife of American football quarterback Antonio Ramiro “Tony” Romo. She studied journalism in her University and served as a sports show anchor. She also spent two summers as an intern for Dallas Cowboys. While working with Dallas Cowboys, her main focus was on-air reporting for the CBS segment about the Cowboys called “The Blitz”. She is sibling of Gossip Girl actor Chace Crawford.

Tony Romo was dating Jessica Simpsons before he met Candice. Tony met Candice over one summer when she was doing The Blitz . “Tony saw her and I guess casually asked her to a movie/dinner date, where you’re eating at the theater. They did that. She was kind of blown away”, her brother Chace revealed in an interview.
Before the couple started dating, Chace’s parents, being massive Cowboys fans, she didn’t want them in the house. And they said, ‘we’re already here. What do you want us to do?’ And she said, ‘hide. Hide in the back.’ She made my parents hide. She didn’t realize Tony was coming over to pick her up. It caught her off guard, so she pushes my parents back in the back” Chace fondly remembers the “funny” incident.

Being a Texan, Candice competed in local beauty pageants most notably in the Miss Texas Teen USA pageants twice in 2003 and 2005.
Candice also competed for Miss Missouri pageant in 2008 while she was attending the University of Missouri. She eventually won the pageant and was qualified for Miss USA pageant, in which she finished in the top 10. She was also named as of the 11 “hottest people in North Texas” by DFW.com.

She also served as executive officer of her sorority, Pi-Beta-Phi. She also spends a chunk of her time mentoring young girls at the local Columbia high school.
